| | At the University of Nova Gorica was held a lecture for students of secondary schools Biotechnical school of Nova Gorica. Professor Polonca Trebše presented them the main areas of research at the University of Nova Gorica (relocation laser detection, liquid chromatography (HPLC), advanced oxidation methods for removing pollutants, the photocatalytic disinfection, pollutants in the environment, such as testing the toxicity of photodegradation products, sustainability, systems, sustainable use of natural resources, developing digital dichotomous keys to specify the type,...). This was followed by a tour of the labs, presentation column experiments with antibiotic, description of instruments and analytical methods used at the University to determine the pollutants in the environment.
