EDUCATION OF STUDENTS* *Location of the activity:* universities, institutes, colleges. *Description of activities:* - Regularly published reports on case examples of good agricultural practices between the partners. These will contain information concerning the reduced use of various nutrients and pesticides in agricultural practice, - The organization of three workshops where the students will excharge and present obtained results from experimentation, - Organization of three technical days on which students will excharge and present obtained results. *Expected outputs and results:* - Increased depth of knowledge and understanding concerning the distribution of pollutants in the environment. *Additional corrective measures:* - Lessons learned about the pollutants and the problem of soil pollution by nutrients, - Acquired knowledge on the potential impacts of various pollutants on the environment and potential threats to water resources, - Acquired practical knowledge, group work. *2.) EDUCATION OF TEACHERS* *Description of activities:* - organisation of a seminar for teachers of science, in which the students and their mentors (professional staff and researchers) will present their work to the teachers of other schools in the region as a model for the acquisition of competences in the system of lifelong non-formal education. *Additional corrective measures:* - Acquisition of additional knowledge for science teachers concerning pollutants and nutrients in the environment from agricultural practises, - Lessons learned about the project and experimental work with students, - Acquired knowledge on practical work skills in the field and in the laboratory. *3.) SUMMER SCHOOLS* *Description of activities:* - Organization of two workshops for young people in agriculture: the transfer of practical skills to young people, who decide to undertake agricultural activities within the family and those who commenced new farming ventures in Slovenia and in Italy. *Expected outputs and results:* - Acquisition of additional knowledge by young people in farming practices. *Additional corrective measures:* - Research skills. |
